COMMITTED TO SERVING OUR COMMUNITY WITH CARE AND TRUST

At At HCAS we are committed to providing leading edge pre-hospital clinical care. For example, all patients believed to be having a heart attack will receive a 12-lead EKG, with Paramedic interpretation and treatment in the field. This treatment previously would be reserved for care only once received in the emergency room. Early diagnosis and intervention is often literally lifesaving! This is just one example of the progressive medical care our communities enjoys.

HCAS surpasses state requirements for mandatory equipment and supplies necessary to provide quality care to the surrounding ommunity. Our equipment list includes:
LifePak 12 Cardiac Monitors with 12 lead EKG
Non-Invasive Continous Blood Pressure Monitoring
3 Line IV Pumps
Capnography
Pulse Oximetry
Transport Ventilators
CPAP
EZ-IO

HCAS has a fleet of 3 Type III McCoy Miller Advanced Life Support ambulances that meet the entire local and state requirements for ALS vehicles as well as the KKK-A-1822D Federal Specifications for Ambulances as outlined by the General Services Administration. HCAS requires well-maintained, response ready vehicles. Each vehicle has preventive maintenance at a minimum of 3,000 miles.
HCAS also maintains a Mass Casualty Trailer that is capable of treating 100 patients. The trailer carries extra bandages, Oxygen, Splinting and Incident Command equipment.
